Our bodies
are amazing in their ability to regenerate cells, blood, even some organs if given the right basic nutrition building blocks.
These building blocks are nutrients, otherwise known as vitamins, minerals, amino acids (protein), and fatty acids (the good,
essential fats every-body needs).
The human body needs over 90 nutrients EVERYDAY to repair itself, make
new cells and function properly: 60 minerals, 16 vitamins, 12 amino acids and 3 fatty acids. 90 nutrients!
Let this fact sink in. How many of the 90 did you get today? How about yesterday or all last week? If the answer isn't
90 EVERY DAY then your body is running off of a deficit. It's having to make due, or pull from your bones and muscles,
or tap into reserves that were intended to sustain you past 100 years old (but we're using them up in our 30's so
when 40 hits and we start to breakdown we say it's normal!). I can't stress enough that God intended and made provision
for our bodies to last—in good health and strength—well into our 100's. One of the things we MUST do
to achieve this is get our 90 nutrients EVERY DAY. Learn more about what those 90 nutrients are in one of our healthy living tips.
So you ask, can't we just eat our apple-a-day and grab some veggies and be OK?
Did you know...
Now, if we all ate only fresh, organic raw foods (with an emphasis on superfoods)
perhaps we wouldn't need to supplement. But let's face it, most of us just don't eat that way! Because of
this, just to get your basic nutrition, everyone on the traditional American diet absolutely needs a good vitamin. If
you're not sure what a "good vitamin" is, read our healthy living tip Choosing Good Vitamins on this topic.
You can also try a really good liquid multi vitamin/mineral that we found to be effective yet affordable.
Once you've done the absolute minimum necessary for good
health by committing to take a good multi vitamin and mineral supplement that also strengthens your major body systems and is
a good source of nourishing herbs and antioxidants, consider following this step-by-step guide towards superior nutrition
and health.

STEP THREE:
Once you've decided
on a path to your better health, we recommend you start the process of changing your entire lifestyle into a healthier one.
This entails:
- Clean air & water: Whether you fit your home with a complete
home filtration system or just start with a water cooler and purified bottled water, or a filter
for your tap, clean water is a must. Did you know that the primary way for unwanted chlorine to get in your system is not
from drinking water but from your SHOWER?! Solving this problem is a quick fix -- get a shower head filter from your local
home improvement or hardware store. For more information, read our healthy tip about water.
Now that you have clean water, stop pollutants and germs ready to infect you from
the air. Clean air can best be achieved through diffusing essential oils with a diffuser. There are many diffusers on
the market, including very affordable plug in diffusers as well as more expensive but more effective nebulizing
diffusers.Or you can always start getting oils into the air with just a basic oil burner. Contact us to discuss options or purchase a diffuser.
We also recommend replacing your air filters
in your home and office often. When you do, make sure you treat them with essential oils perfect for purifying the air
such as the single oil Eucalyptus easily found in your local health food store, or contact us for some wonderful the oil blends. - Living environments free of
harsh chemicals: Get the toxic products out of your routine. Replace them with things that won't
harm you or your loved ones, and that will actually help you stay well. The Thieves line is one excellent way to do this using Young Living Products. For some wonderful recipes using
essential oils found in most health food stores and other materials you probably have in your cabinets RIGHT NOW, read
this healthy tip. But don't stop there - change over your bath and shower products, lotions, even perfumes.
Contact Fit By Faith to sample the scents we've created or we can help you design your own signature scent!
- Replace your medicine cabinets and emergency kits with healthy alternatives:
Whether
you're
at home or on the town, Jordan Blends should be with you at alltimes to handle just about any emergency or healthcare
situation that may arise. For single oils no home should be without read our Medicine Cabinet Must-have tips on Lemon and Peppermint.
STEP
FOUR:
No matter what your personal analysis determined to be a strength or weakness, we recommend that everyone
have an intestinal cleanse at least twice each year (spring and fall works well). Learn more about the importance of
cleansing in the healthy tip: Spring Cleaning (Internally, that is!). Think you're ready to try a cleanse for yourself? Contact us today for information on several ready-made cleanses you can try or for information on a cleanse you can do by using
simple foods from the grocerry store.
